There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us;it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others.

My fovorite artist would have to be Jacob Lawerence. His paintings just catch my eye no matter what the subject of his work may be. He chooses beautiful bright colors to paint his pictures. He does a great job of capturing the lives of African Americans.

The Hip Hop culture is art. Art is anything you do to expresss yourself. It can dance, painting,drawing poetry etc. Because people use hip hop can be expressed through dance or vocals its considered art.
